Florin MOCANU (b. 1963, Rasvani, Calarasi) visual artist specialized in painting. In 1997 he graduated from the Academy of Art Bucharest, the painting department, Prof. Alexandru Chira and Stefan Caltia’s class. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and art salons organized in Romania and abroad where he has been appreciated and distinguished with many awards. He has been a member of the Romanian Artists Union since 1998. Currently he is a teacher at the "Nicolae Tonitza" High School of Fine Arts in Bucharest.
