Catalin GEANA (b. 1969, Targu-Carbunesti, Gorj), sculptor. He graduated in 1995 from the National Academy of Arts, Professor Paul Vasilescu's class. Since 2007 he is member of the Romanian Artists Union, Department of sculpture, Bucharest branch. He won the first prize for sculpture at London Art Biennale in 2015, second prize ”Leonardo for sculpture” at the Biennale of Chianciano, Italy and the third prize at „Brancusiana” Sculpture Exhibition in Targu Jiu. In 2013 he was awarded for Artistic Merit at Chianciano Biennale, Italy.
