Florin CODRE (n. 1943, Brasov), sculptor. He is a member in the Board of the Romanian Cultural Institute. He won the Youth Award for Sculpture and Visual Artists Union of Romania Award. He received the title of honor citizen of the municipality of Calarasi. He has created many important works of sculpture, including: the equestrian statue of Avram Iancu in Targu Mures, the equestrian statues of Charles I in Calarasi and Bucharest.
