Maria Roxana CIOATĂ (born 1969, Pitesti), visual artist specialized in ceramics. In 1997, she graduated from the University of Arts Bucharest, ceramics and glass Department. She is a member of the Romanian Artists Union, a beneficiary of the Mac Constantinescu scholarship. At Florence Biennale 2017 she won the first prize  Lorenzo Il Magnifico, for ceramics and in 2018 at Biennale delle Nazioni from Venice she obtained a mention. She participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, art salons, art residencies, and symposiums in the country and abroad.
