Loredana STANCU (b. 1970, Oltenita), visual artist specialized in graphic arts and painting. She graduated from the Art Academy Bucharest in 1997, and since 2000 she has been a member of the Romanian Artists Union, Bucharest branch. She has had numerous painting exhibitions in the country and abroad, collaborations in the field of theater and film scenography as well as participations in international contests of painting and puppets-scenography where she has won numerous awards. Painting and graphic works belonging to the artist are found in private collections in USA, Canada, Germany, England, France, Spain, etc. She is collaborating with the project space Alert Studio from Bucharest, a cultural hub with multiple projects in the visual field of contemporary art.
