Maria Sanda CONSTANTINESCU (b. april, Stoenesti, Arges), visual artist specialized in painting. She graduated from the ”Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts Bucharest, monumental painting and restoration department, Professor Costin Ioanid’s class. Membership: Member of the Romanian Artists Union; Member of the ”Burchardt” Academy from Italy and Switzerland; Founder and president of the ”Breath of Light” Foundation, Romania, for the education of children through traditional crafts; Honorary member of the Academy of Traditional Arts from Sibiu, Romania. Awards: 1988 - Caravaggio, Rome, Italy; 1998 - Ristori, Roma; 2009 - Award for originality, Brussels, Belgium.
